Eucharistic Love in Action

A Worldwide Family of Sisters

The Sisters of the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus were founded in Nigeria in 1943 by Archbishop Leo Hale Taylor, SMA. Their life is centered on the daily celebration of the Eucharist, and from the altar they go out to teach, to care for the sick, and to serve in parishes around the world.

“The Eucharist is the source and summit of the Christian life.”

— Second Vatican Council, Lumen Gentium, 11
